A multi-international Facility Management Business in Construction & Engineering industry on the South Coast. Currently looking for a Commercial Contracts Manager focusing on commercial legal matters and this is a 100% remote work position.
Your new role
- Drafting, reviewing and transacting construction and commercial contracts including JCTs, NECs, Terms Contracts, Amendment Terms and Public Procurement Contracts
- Must be able to demonstrate acute attention to detail and take ownership for their work
- Advising on general legal queries from the business on commercial, project management, governance, and compliance matters.
- Dealing with and mitigating disputes in close collaboration with business
- Creating training toolkits and delivering training to the business on relevant processes, law and company policies
- Limited travel to various UK-based offices to meet internal and external business partners
What you'll need to succeed
- Possession of a relevant legal qualification preferred but of more importance candidates must be able to demonstrate strong construction contract experience
- Experience within a similar role in private or public sector
- Customer Focus, excellent communication skills, adaptability and analytical thinking
- Confident, articulate communicator at all levels with excellent presentation skills
- A strong and persuasive negotiator
- Good time management skills
- Proactive approach to improving system and processes, results driven
- Logical approach to problem solving
- Ability to work with minimum supervision whilst retaining a sense of team spirit
- Commitment to ethics and compliance
