An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our Global FMCG Client, the powerhouse behind Persil, Comfort, Surf and Ben & Jerry's, are currently seeking a Business Analyst This is a full–time temporary role for 12 months, working a 36.25 hour week, paying up to GBP53,350 per annum. The role will be based in Blackfriars London.

Summary

In January 2021, our client announced its Digital 4 Growth Agenda. (D4G) 5 Competitive Must Dos, 2 Iconic Programmes, and 5 Critical Capabilities form the D4G integrated digital agenda for which our company is uniquely placed to set the industry benchmark. D4G is an agile at scale lighthouse, with a key ambition to become the first global cross–functional fully agile team to accelerate the D4G agenda and leading the way for our company to change how we work end to end to drive impact.

The Business Analyst is a critical role as part of the D4G Agile Tribe, reporting directly into the Programme Management Office. Being part of the D4G agile tribe, this role will flow to value as and when the Business Analysts skills are needed across the D4G programmes. The role will partner with specific programmes to support the Product Owners with defining the backlog (epics & user stories) and support with the development team delivery.

Main Accountabilities

Organising the Product Backlog by creating and maintaining epics
Building a shared performance understanding within D4G squads and across the D4G tribe
Creating and maintaining User Stories describing the backlog items to drive continuous impact and improvement of the D4G programme
Describing the features/enhancement of new or existing business components
Creating tests for the developed functionalities and maintaining a version for demo and regression test purposes
Documentation of the Backend Development and operating procedures
Component documentation
Template documentation
Roles and rights concept
End–user documentation for the value streams

Experiences and Skills required

Clear and proven understanding of digital particularly in the consumer and customer space
Agile experience and certification
Strong front and or back end technological awareness
Business improvement process excellence
Complex problem–solving skills
Advanced analytical skills
Ability to run a 3–Amigo meeting
Stories, acceptance criteria & requirements definition
Stakeholder relationship management
