Financial Controller

Jenson Fisher have been engaged by our client, a leading Hotel and Property group with premises in Dundee, to recruit a Hotel Financial Controller on a permanent, full time basis. The Hotel Financial Controller will primarily be tasked with overseeing all financial reporting for the site whilst also providing a business partnering function to other department heads.

As the successful candidate, you will ideally have hotel/leisure experience alongside strong experience using financial reporting systems and Microsoft Excel. You will consider yourself a strong communicator with excellent organisational skills and whilst a recognised accounting qualification would be preferred, this is not essential.

On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:

• Production of budgets and forecasts alongside all relevant analysis.
• Lead the month–end process within the business.
• Revenue management including income audits.
• Maintenance of all financial records in a compliant manner.
• Ongoing cost control and periodic stock checks.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Payroll on a weekly and monthly basis.
