Our client are now recruiting for a Senior Commercial Solicitor to join their business in Belfast as a Senior Manager as part of their ambitious growth plans.

Your new role
In your new role you will work within the Legal Operations team, an operational team made up of paralegals and legal professionals working for a wide range of clients from sectors such as Luxury brands, Banks, Manufacturing and more.
This opportunity is in a fast-growing team as a Commercial Law Senior Manager. The main purpose of this role is to strengthen the leadership team in a service offering that continues to experience significant growth and success by leading the operational delivery of multiple complex programmes and drive opportunities for growth.

The responsibilities of each role will vary depending on client needs but will likely include:
- Oversee the set up and operational delivery of multiple large-scale complex programmes to deliver relevant, cost effective and process efficient solutions that meet client needs and objectives, for a range of diverse clients.
- Establish propositions and identify opportunities for our services within the market.
- Develop sales and marketing strategies in order to develop revenue and grow sales in the commercial area.
- Build and maintain an agile framework and structure to service large scale client programmes with metrics and a reporting framework to accurately articulate performance to clients, ensuring all programmes meet with contractual obligations and standards as well as budget and timescales.
- In conjunction with team managers assume responsibility for quality, risk and governance and seek ways to continually improve processes, driving efficiencies and automating processes through the use of technology where possible.
- Help to position our services and capability across the PwC network, building and holding relationships with Partners.
- Personally maintain strong professional relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Manage other high performing teams (circa 70 FTE) within Legal Operations which align to the practice.
What you'll need to succeed
- Legally qualified, in any recognised Common Law or European jurisdiction
- Industry experience in managing multiple clients, matters and teams simultaneously in a demanding and complex environment
- Demonstrable success as a senior leader and of managing and developing large high performing teams
- A track record of success setting up new operations, demonstrating strategic outlook, commercial acumen and business planning
- A broad network of relationships and the ability to generate new client engagements
- An entrepreneurial approach and mindset that is excited by the opportunity to grow and shape new practice areas and client propositions
- The ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal business partners, our client network and those within your teams
Desirable
- Project or Programme Management qualifications
- Knowledge and understanding of customer remediation
- Experience leading teams across multiple sites
