Financial Controller

This is a really exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to join this unique business, a true market leader within the entertainment sector. Obviously, they have been impacted by the recent pandemic, but are already making expansion plans to commence in the Autumn of 2021. As part of these plans they are now looking to recruit a dynamic and resourceful Financial Controller to oversee the day to day accounting functions, reporting into their outstanding Finance Director.

Core responsibilities will be to manage a small team who look after the day to day functions of the accounts department, in addition to the preparation of the monthly reporting pack including management accounts, variance analysis, commentaries and all other related functions. As an individual you will be fully qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with a proven track record including at least two years in a controllership position.

This business operates in a specialist sector and as such they are seeking a candidate with exposure to entertainment/media/hospitality who has a vibrant, positive and all-consuming approach to their position. A strong and outgoing personality is vital. Sometimes hours will vary according to workloads, so you need to have an open approach in respect of attitude and demonstrate the ability to prioritise accordingly. Advanced Excel skills as well as strong general IT skills are imperative.

This role will be office based in Twickenham when restrictions allow but for the time being homeworking is expected.
