A well–known and market leading FTSE listed, Consumer Retail business are currently looking for a Qualified Finance Manager to join their team.

The opportunity to join a large and diverse Finance team that thrive through new business growth, partnering with technology as a key in being able to produce strategic profitability and financial gain. The operational leadership drive business strategy and growth, compromising of finance, accounting, corporate strategy & development that support and enhance business operating efficiencies.

You will need strong knowledge of accounting standards IFRS/FRS 101 and month–end reporting, a proven leader who can oversee a team, and the desire to grow and progress in a dynamic fast–paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

Preparation of month and quarter end close process, overseeing the teams accounting processes whilst working strategically to complete in a timely manner
Providing a view: analysing variances whilst actively improving processes, monitoring issues whilst improving processes with attention to detail
Supporting the global process owner for R2R controls and streamlining team processes for effective improvement
Financial accounting standards practise with adherence to IFRS/FRS 101
Leading a team, supporting growth and aiding personal development to build a high performing culture
Providing support for audit queries and operating efficiency of all key controls within key team
Assisting commercial teams in benefit of financial reporting

About you:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
Strong knowledge of accounting standards IFRS/FRS 101
Proven experience managing direct reports
An ambitious leader with a passion for building team success and culture
An effective communicator with a natural ability to build on relationships with stakeholders
