Dynamic and expanding media business in a market leading position
Pick up and develop existing client relationships with exciting clients in multiple vertical markets
Field based role covering Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Durham
Reporting to the Group commercial director, the role of Business Development Manager will be to:
Develop the North East territory, to increase revenues from existing clients and secure support from new clients through strong consultative sales skills.
Secure sponsorship for a range of events, and banner advertising and sponsorship for a range of online products.
Take new products to the market when they are launched.
The role is split between new business acquisition and developing existing relationships
Markets you'll be working in include: Legal, Financial Services, IT & Technology, Property, Public Sector and the client already has strong relationships in all these markets for you to pick up and develop We're looking for candidates with the following skill set:
Strong track record of achieving stretching targets.
Successful in both Account Management and New Business Development.
Excellent presentation skills in a b2b environment.
Strong interpersonal skills at Board Director & Senior Manager level.
Ability to close business both face to face and over the telephone
