Head of Asset Management
Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Head of Asset Management to work with one of our Housing Association clients in Kent.
What the job will be doing
* To deliver our strategic approach to Asset
* Management through continual development of our Asset Management Strategy to be signed on by Board.
* To develop and deliver our approach to sustainability throughout our stock, especially our approach to
* EPC 2030 and Net Zero Carbon 2050, to complement our Sustainability Strategy.
* To play an active and positive role as part of the Property Services Management Team and to act as an ambassador for the service at all times.
* To set, manage and monitor delivery of the objectives of the teams within the function in line with the corporate objectives and targets.
* Create a culture of continuous improvement through the application of innovation whilst adopting a transformative approach to business improvement.
* To ensure a co–ordinated approach across their business and to deliver a high–quality service.
* Ensure success of their business through effective budget setting and budget management and to maintain and improve our assets.
* To ensure a consistent approach to service delivery for our customers across all Property Services functions.
* To deliver a robust and effective Health and Safety, Building Safety systems across teams and to the stock.
* To develop, review and produce on regular basis our Business Plan for investment in our stock. Taking into consideration short, medium, and longer–term management requirements for specific assets.
* To develop and sustain relationships with key stakeholders; and in particular ensure colleague teams contributing to a positive working relationship.
* Chair monthly Asset Management Group meetings and include key stakeholders within meetings and actions.
What you will need
* Membership of the RICS/CIOB or other relevant qualification desirable
* Senior Management experience in a related service area.
* Experienced professional with a background and understanding of Social Housing and Asset Management
* Proactive thinker with proven change management skills.
* Proven ability to manage significant budgets, complex data and long–term plans for housing stock.
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and customers.
* A highly resilient, visible and inspirational leader with significant experience of operating at a senior management level with a proven, successful track record.
* A proven track record of leading a complex and dynamic service area which has delivered a high performance, cost efficient, customer focused service.
* A demonstrable commitment to Customer Services.
* Knowledge Building pathology & Asset Management
* Contract Management

* Financial/budget management.
