HIGHLY EXPERIENCED HR DIRECTOR OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN A HIGHLY REGARDED ORGANISATION TO COORDINATE THEIR HR FUNCTION

TITLE: HR Director

Package: GBP75,000 plus company benefits

Location: You may be in Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham and surrounding areas as their will be travel required to company locations

Previous industries: Examples of ideal backgrounds would include, Quarrying & Aggregates, Cement Kiln, Concrete Block Production, Building Products Manufacturing, Mining, Chemical Production, Waste Management, Metal Recycling, Foundry, Steel Works etc.
Previous Job Titles: HR Director or HR Manager or HR Business Partner or Head of HR Business Partner or Group HR Manager

ROLE–
YOU WILL Work closely with senior management and other Directors to prepare and implement HR strategy
YOU WILL Manage Payroll function for all staff
YOU WILL Support Directors and Managers on all recruiting matters
YOU Will Advise Directors and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures
YOU WILL Monitor and develop performance appraisal systems
YOU MUST Keep up to date with UK employment legislation
YOU MUST Manage investigations and complex employee relations issues including redundancy and grievance
YOU MUST Ensure employee relation cases are managed to meet best practice requirements
YOU WILL Develop starter and leaver procedures

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED –

Ideal Requirements
• Qualified CIPD member
• Proven HR generalist experience on both strategic and operational level
• Thorough, up–to–date knowledge of employment law
• Ability to work autonomously
• Experience of recruitment and interviews at a senior level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional planning and project management skills and experience
