An international flavours company, with connections across Europe, Asia and growing the US, are looking for an experience Business Development Manager to join their team. This is the perfect opportunity for somebody that has experience selling into the US market and wants the next step, within a growing business that offers the opportunity for travel across the globe!
Responsibilities of the role include:
* Identifying new lead opportunities across the US primarily, Asia and Europe.
* Making initial contact with potential customers via various different channels.
* Selling company products to both food and non–food customers.
* Understanding your target markets such as; bakeries, confectionaries, beverages and print.
* Having a consultative approach to manage the whole sample and selling process.
* Attending exhibitions and customer meetings internationally.
Skills required for the role include:
* Experience generating new business across telephone, email and social media channels.
* Knowledge of the US market to grow their presence their further.
* A self–starter that is highly confident and able to build strong lasting relationships.
Benefits to the role include:
* Basic Salary of GBP30,000 – 40,000.
* Uncapped commission structure.
* International travel, around 3 – 4 times a year.
* Flexible, relaxed working environment.
* On–site parking at the office.
* Potential to grow a team.
