Project Manager | GBP6.5m new build steel frame office building and fit–out
Nr Biggleswade
Circa GBP300 p/day
42 weeks duration & Temp/Perm option available
Start 2nd or 9th August 2021
This medium / large building contractor carries out new build, & large refurbishments across a range
of sectors ranging in project values of circa GBP5m – GBP20m.
The company has a requirement for an experienced Site Project Manager, to take from start to finish, a GBP6.5m new build office building; comprising steel frame, glazing, curtain walling on all 4 sides, followed by an extensive cat b fit–out. Circa 42 week programme.
This a great opportunity to take a project from conception to completion.
Experience required:
??Project Manager (PM not just a Site Manager)
??Programming experience (ideally with Asta)
??Someone who is decent in the ground; drainage, piles, foundations etc.
??New build Steel frame & cladding
??Fit–out
The Project Manager Responsibilities:
??Take the job from conception to completion
??"Proper" standalone No1 on site
??Looking after the project, programme (must be proficient with Asta), design, meetings, H&S, construction plan and day to day activities on site – of the site team and sub–contractors.
??Produce reports, report to the client, coordinate the design with external consultants
??Project look ahead, and report against the construction programme
The ideal site project manager must have / be:
??CSCS (Black or Gold)
??SMSTS
??First Aid at Work
