Agile Project Manager – Business Intelligence

Opportunity for a Project Manager with experience delivering sizeable Business Intelligence solutions in an Agile framework. Join a large, market–leading multinational group, who provide services to millions of people daily as they deploy high impact business intelligence solutions across the group, utilising their newly developed Data Hub built on AWS cloud services.

This position will suit a senior, versatile Project Manager, able to pick up and deliver major data projects in both traditional waterfall and Agile ways. A technical background and/or understanding of data architectures and principles is essential. Work will be varied, straddling both the delivery of major data projects relating to M&A or separation activity and the development of new solutions, managing onshore and offshore teams as Scrum Master.

This is a large–scale, complex group organisation with many varying B2C and B2B business operations and tens–of–thousands of employees spread globally. As such, the data types and Business Intelligence needs are widely varied, providing for a steady pipeline of interesting projects. You will play a pivotal role in the continual improvement of the delivery methodology and the management of Business Intelligence projects around the Data Hub platform to time, cost, and quality constraints.

Minimum required skills and experience;

Previous experience as a Senior Technical Project Manager, delivering sizeable data and Business intelligence solutions.
A strong understanding of data transformation and business intelligence technologies (ideally AWS and/or other cloud services)
Demonstrable experience of leading and improving Agile working practices, including Kanban and acting Scrum Master
Managing technical delivery teams; inhouse and onshore and offshore 3rd parties
Excellent communication and leadership skills, building and managing relationships with stakeholders
A strong understanding of Project Management best–practices, managing dependencies, risks and issues and providing regular formal project reporting
A dynamic thinker, able to manage multiple complex initiatives, influencing and collaborating to delivery value quickly and often

Salary of up to GBP65,000 + Corporate Benefits
The role will be based in Sunderland with flexible working (2 days in office)
