Are you a Quality Management Systems professional with at least 4/5 years experience in the Automotive Industry?
Do you have extensive knowledge of IATF:16949 requirements?
Have you got an exceptional knowledge of manufacturing practices, ISO standards and Quality systems?
Are you based within a commutable distance of Lytham or willing to relocate and looking for a new full time opportunity? Would you like the chance to join a leading manufacturer of parts used mainly within the automotive industry?
If the answers are yes, our client, a forward thinking organisation who are a world leader in the design and manufacture of acoustic and EGR exhaust valves; are looking to take on a full time QMS Lead to work between their Lytham and Preston facilities.
You will be responsible for taking the lead on all external audits ensuring all relevant certification and paperwork is constantly up to date.
What you need....
At least 5 years' experience in the automotive industry
Extensive knowledge of IATF:16949 requirements
Understanding of manufacturing practices, ISO standards and Quality systems
Understanding of AIAG Quality manuals including PFMEA, Control Plan, Measurement system analysis and Statistical process control.
Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and Powerpoint;
It would be massively desirable if you had....
Successfully completed lead Auditors training (IATF 16949 / TS 16949)

What you will be doing (the role).....
Implementation and maintenance of relevant Mechatronics Division certification e.g IATF 16949 (Actuator and Exhaust Valve)
Liaise, arrange and co–ordinate with certification bodies including client manager
Plan, arrange and co–ordinate management reviews within the relevant Mechatronics division
Lead an effective internal audit plan, created annually, reviewed regularly and adjusted to suit identified risks with the support of the Mechatronics Quality Manager and QMS co–ordinator
To monitor and report performance of the management systems.
To lead NC and corrective action escalation meetings
Mentor Management Team on IATF 16949 QMS requirements
Support feedback into the context of the organisation matrix
Ensure all activities carried out are ethical, meet H&S regulations and comply with company procedures
Ensure your area of responsibility complies with the Environmental Management System
Any other reasonable requirements of Mechatronics Quality Manager
