I'm working with a high growth SME retail business on an interim Financial Controller position. The role will involve:
- Lead the finance team of 3
- Management Accounts and KPIs - preparing management information using inter-linked P&L, balance sheet and cashflow statements on a monthly basis. Generation of monthly management reports, board packs and shareholder reports
- Prepare Annual Statutory Accounts including Group consolidation
- Lead initiatives to improve financial management within the organisation - designing and implementing greater processes and controls, budgeting and forecasting
- Forecasts - including weekly and monthly cashflow planning
- Stakeholder reporting - work with 3rd party debt providers
- Investment Appraisal - undertake project analysis to assess viability of capital investment in new and existing products
- Stock Management - work with the Head of Supply and Operations to lead improvements in stock management and minimising stock days
Skills Required:
- Experience leading a transnational finance team
- Worked in a SME/start up consumer business
- Stock management experience
