We are currently looking to recruit a HR Business Partner, to provide ER support on a range of issues, such as disciplinary, grievance, long term sickness/absence meetings and performance management issues and act as a coach and support managers through these processes in the South West region. What does the role involve?
As HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for ensuring that the broader HR function works effectively by advising and influencing at a strategic level within our businesses. Reporting into the Head of HR, the successful candidate will look to implement group policy on talent management, people development and remuneration and reward, introducing specific initiatives and supporting specialist HR functions in detailed implementation. You will engender a culture which recognises and promotes the absolute importance of health and safety, environmentally responsible behaviour, the highest standards of business ethics and compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
This is a multi–site role, covering 18 branches within the south west region. This role would ideally suit a HR Advisor, looking to step up into their first HR Business Partner role.
The successful candidate will require:
• A track record of providing effective generalist HR support to a business unit and influencing senior managers in both HR and broader business management issues
• Strong Communication skills, be highly organised, and can influence peers
• CIPD qualified
• The ability to commit to regular national travel and overnight stays away from home
