We're currently seeking a CIPD qualified HR Business Partner– Recruitment and Engagement to work within a state of the art, high throughput diagnostics laboratory environment based in Milton Keynes as part of the UK's NHS Test and Trace programme.

The HR Business Partner– Recruitment and Engagement will be accountable for delivering an efficient and effective recruitment solution across multiple streams in line with company policy, process and best practice. To identify, lead and manage resourcing activities to ensure appropriately qualified and skilled staff are recruited in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment
Providing expert advice and recommendations to Hiring Managers
Deliver end to end recruitment campaigns
Support resourcing decisions to ensure recruitment and retaining of the best talent
Reduce agency cost through effective recruitment and selection
Advertise roles internally and externally
Implement and manage and the online Application Tracking System for all vacancies.
Delivering and supporting the full recruitment life cycle
Deliver high quality results while manging substantial recruitment volumes and working to short deadlines.
Deal with recruitment related finance/budget matters as and when required.
Produce and monitor recruitment metrics.
Implement new resourcing methods to improve the talent pool
Liaise with department heads to forecast future recruitment needs
Review candidates' applications via their CVs and covering letters.
To be responsible for the final sign off for each relevant hire
Carry out screening calls and support the design of the formal interview process.
Develop and execute employee engagement strategy that is aligned to the organisation.
Promote the employer brand and engagement process.
Organise and promote employee engagement and recognition initiatives across the site.
Analyse and communicate the results of our employee engagement surveys, and partner with the HR team and leaders to drive actions to improve employee happiness off the back of the feedback received

Essential criteria:

Demonstrable experience of partnering with line managers to carry out the strategic and operational recruitment goals and deliver against these.
Extensive experience in a recruitment role with the ability to deliver complex and high–volume recruitment
Experience of managing all aspects of the recruitment life cycle
Full understanding of best practice for managing employee engagement
Strong communicator with stakeholder management skills and the ability to agree expectations and influence effectively throughout delivery
Experience of using an applicant tracking system and good excel/ analytic skills
CIPD or relevant experience.
Able to build positive relationships with a reputation for integrity and achieving results. Works collaboratively with managers at all levels.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to impart information in a clear and concise way.
Excellent customer–facing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.
Ability to work in a busy environment, under pressure and prioritise own workload.
Ability to use initiative and take responsibility with a positive "can do" attitude.
Ability to form effective working relationships at all levels and enjoy working with people.
Excellent team player.
Ability to multi–task, set and achieve targets with excellent organisational and planning skills
