The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the external and internal sales and marketing teams, create standardised and scalable sales processes and develop a number of key accounts with both end users and re–sellers to drive profitable sales with both new and existing customers.
The successful candidate will join the Senior Management Team and in conjunction with the Managing Director, will develop and implement a commercial business strategy that will maintain and improve company turnover and profitability. This is a key role and will play a very active part in driving the planned business growth over the next 3–5 years and beyond.
The Person
With a degree in Business or Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, you will have a proven background in a sales leadership role, preferably having sold electro mechanical engineered products and solutions overseas. You will have gained experience in both large and SME businesses and have had led external, internal sales and marketing teams. You will enjoy a hands on role where you will manage key accounts and develop new sales along with mentoring and developing your team and sales processes.
You will be experienced in selling a diverse range of technical products and solutions to a disparate customer base (direct end users as well as re–sellers and distributors / agents) and will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the different processes and practices in selling different value products through different routes to market. This role will require a candidate to demonstrate significant experience in international sales with channel / reseller management.
