We are looking for a Delivery Director who will provide engineering and management leadership across multiple workstreams. Part of your role will be facilitating development and reporting progress.
Working closely with, and reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will provide mentoring and leadership support to development projects across the F1000 Research development team, ensuring a consistency of approach and reporting across all projects. Working with partners across F1000 Research, the Engineering Lead will co–ordinate with the Programme Lead to ensure complete and consistent planning and reporting across all projects being undertaken by the development team.
Deep technical knowledge and experience of managing multiple projects will be required and an ability to switch between engineering and management leadership, as needed.

What you'll be doing:
* Extend engineering leadership capacity in the globally distributed F1000 Research development team.
* Work across a portfolio of externally and internally focused projects, initiatives, and products as required.
* Assist in the recruitment of world–class engineers.
* Own and drive execution of key projects by co–ordinating with technical team leads to ensure adequate resource allocation and management.
* Ensure the predictable delivery of high–quality, scalable, secure, and extensible software solutions to meet customer and business requirements
* Ensure strong alignment with T&F Product and Architecture functions to avoid F1000 and T&F technologies diverging adversely.
* Ensure cross–programme and other dependencies are identified and effectively managed
* Contribute to continuous improvement of our methods, approaches, and policies
