Project Manager (Potable Water Industry) – South London Temporary GBP449.99 per day
As Project Manager you will be responsible for P&L, HSEQ and customer responsibility for delivering a successful Framework in the region. Your role will include management of the safe and quality assured delivery of both water and wastewater projects high standards. This will include but not be limited to ensuring the correct processes and procedures are in place and followed ensuring right first time and defect free delivery. Responsible for setting and delivering against financial budgets whilst delivering against the clients regulatory and measured targets. Managing, measuring and reporting financial, schedule and quality information centrally and working closely in collaboration with our client. Experience of working in the potable water industry is essential.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
Collaboration with Client Asset Planners, designers and delivery teams throughout the Target Cost Setting, design and delivery phases of a project
Ensuring projects are delivered in a safe, efficient, timely way and promoting best practice in quality management
Ensuring compliance with procedures to support the delivery of world class health and safety, customer and quality performance
Ensuring compliance with environmental processes and procedures
Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Environment.
Delivery;
Manage and lead the delivery team to ensure we exceed client expectations and deliver a safe and efficient programme of work, this will include but not limited to the following items;
* Manage Project Delivery – Regular review of performance against cost and programme.
* Manage data and information received by the client and third parties through our systems and resources in a controlled manner.
* Oversee the management of Target Cost setting and governance.
* Ensure client reports are completed in a timely manner, reviewed and submitted in line with agreed requirements.
* Resource Management – Ensure the correct resources are competent and trained to carry out their roles.
* Manage and maintain records in a controlled manner.
* Build and maintain Risk, Opportunity and Change Management processes
* Produce Monthly Programme performance reports.
* Deliver Projects on time and within budget.
* Ensuring quality is adhered to.
* Managing cash flow against a WiP weeks target.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Experience of working in the potable water industry essential
Experienced leader with proven track record in leading multidiscipline teams
Committed to delivering the highest health and safety standards
Experience of infrastructure delivery
Qualifications – desirable
Degree qualified in construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar.
Management training such as Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent
NEBOSH or similar
SMSTS
APM or equivalent
ILM or equivalent
