COMMERCIAL MANAGER (director designate)

Role
Joining the Senior Leadership Team responsible for delivering the Company's UK strategic vision, you will have responsibility for leading and managing the UK Sales Team, following the sales strategy, delivering sales growth and overseeing the full project lifecycle to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead and manage the UK Sales Team
* Understand, advise, and follow the Sales Strategy
* Effectively manage key client relationships and marketing
* Efficiently manage Project Risk
* Ensure profitability of project by optimising profit and minimising loss
* Lead the Project Management Team to deliver on time to a high level of client satisfaction
* Develop annual Sales Plans, Budgets and KPI's for each activity
Key Reports:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working alongside the HR, Finance and Export Directors
Person
You will be a proactive and experienced Commercial Manager, with an ambition to move quickly to Director level and have a proven track record in a technical engineering background.
Other requirements include:
* Demonstrate previous success in sales team management
* Strategically minded
* Experience of developing business
* Demonstrate previous success within project management
* Come from an engineering, solution based/systems background
* Experience influencing and being part of a senior management team
* An articulate, professional communicator
* Located commutable to the Stockport office
Qualifications
You will have an excellent technical background, having completed a related degree/technical training and further management training throughout previous roles.
