Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join one of the largest utilities company in the Midlands. They are a socially responsible company committed to improving water and wastewater services for their customers and improving the environment that those services depend on.

This permanent opportunity comes with an excellent salary of up to GBP45,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package including an annual bonus, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays and the ability to buy/sell days, a fantastic contributory pension scheme of up to 15%, a share purchase option, flexible benefits scheme including Gymflex, dental and critical innless insurance.
About the role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for ensuring a 'best in class' service is delivered to clients at all times. Account managing a portfolio of clients, the Business Development Manager will be maximising on opportunities to upsell, advising on remediation and managing issues through to resolution.
Key objectives of the role include:
Monitor day to day contract delivery of on the customer portfolio to maintain a healthy Gross Margin on contract performance
Manage the financial performance on all customer accounts
Manage and own client's issues and complaints through to resolution
Develop and adopt industry best practice to drive improvements in service
Influencing future industry change to enable the Company to be seen as best in class
Prepare and lead regular customer review meetings
About you
You will have previous experience of successfully managing a portfolio of clients from within the Construction industry
You will have excellent knowledge of the water hygiene industry and the regulatory, statutory and legal obligations that need to be adhered to
You will have a technical understanding of both water and wastewater assets and the processes to design, construct and adopt these to the corrected standards
You will be experience in Legionella management
You will hold a Blue & CSCS card
Additional information:
Contract: Permanent
Salary: GBP35,000 to GBP45,000, dependent upon experience
