Axon Moore are looking for an interim Financial Controller to join a highly progressive Technology business who are backed by a PE business and set for a period of extreme growth.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for ensuring the Finance department adheres to its monthly reporting cycle in addition to improving processes and controls. You will also be managing a small team of transactional staff.
  • Deal with the monthly production of Management and Financial Accounts
  • Ensure the accurate production of all financial reports in the business
  • Develop a strategic budget/forecast for each operating division and department, with particular emphasis on ensuring that margins and investment are well planned
  • Support the CFO in deploying the strategic plan for change in the department looking for ways to improve the performance of the department and scope of activity
  • Drive business improvement projects across the business e.g. reduce cost, improve margin and realise cash.
  • Analyse & evaluate complex business proposals/opportunities/threats based on a sound financial analysis and supporting the commercial bid teams in the business
Person Specification:
  • Fully qualified – ACCA / CIMA or ACA
  • Experienced Financial Controller who is accustomed to managing transactional staff
  • SME background, PE experience is advantageous
  • Experience of working in telecommunications or utilities advantageous
  • Used Xero / Sage or a similar ERP system previously
