Financial Controller

Haig&Co are on the hunt for a Financial Controller who would be interested in working with a well–established design and manufacturing company–based Redditch. Part of a wider group but still retaining that close knit team atmosphere this would be an amazing opportunity to get involved.

Working closely with the Group Finance Director and Divisional Managing Director the ideal person will be responsible for:

Business Partner with the MD and Senior Stakeholders
Preparation of management accounts
Profit and Loss
Balance sheet
Cash flow statements
Budget Variance analysis
Key financial metrics
Supporting the forecasting and budgeting process
Preparation of all statutory returns
Preparation of various schedules and reconciliations
Overall responsibility for the balance sheet including AR, AP and inventory
Liaison with bank and other service suppliers
Group Payroll and pension administration with outsourced provider
P11D and P60 reporting
Generally acting to improve profitability
The business partnering aspect of this role is exceptionally important to the success of the department and the business overall so having the right attitude is going to be a key factor. In addition, a good eye for process improvement and managing and leading a small, but high performing team is all going to be part of the job.

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is a must.
