Finance Manager

I am working with a client based in the centre of Cardiff who are recruiting for a Finance Manager for an immediate start. This role would be perfect for someone looking to step up into a Finance Manager position or someone with both finance and operational experience.

The role will be initially managing the Operational Finance functions for the team while they go through an internal restructure but they want someone who wants to progress to more of a leadership and strategic role.

Duties will initially include:

Management of the credit card system and card holders
Making sure all payment and submissions are accurate
Report to managers across the business with up–to–date finance and operational information
Ensuring the purchase ledger, sales ledger is accurate and assisting the team where needed
Ensure Payroll is processed correctly
Assisting with the annual budget preparation
Experience using SAGE would be advantageous
Experience in the not–for–profit sector or housing again would be advantageous but not essential. This role is open to both temporary and permanent candidates but they need someone ideally immediately available or on a short notice period.
