Experienced Business Development Manager is needed to join the team at ECOM IT Solutions.
Founded in 1998 and based in Essex, ECOM IT Solutions is an award winning IT provider, delivering Managed IT support, Cloud Services, Procurement Services to small and mid–sized companies.
We believe the right technology and the best people are the keys to every successful business.
We are a tight–knit team with a solid understanding of the importance in building and maintaining relationships, efficiency, and a high standard of work.
We are looking for a competitive and trustworthy Sales Executive to help us build our business portfolio.
About the role:
Responsibilities include working alongside our operations & marketing coordinator and Directors to discover and pursue new sales prospects, creating a diverse portfolio of clients and helping to maintain relationships. You will be involved in the full cycle from targeting the right clients & their needs, negotiating and closing the deal, to maintaining the relationship and developing further.
We require a professional individual with confidence, attention to detail, a strong ability to multi–task and impeccable time management skills. The ideal candidate should also have good communication skills, a strong teamwork ethic, and the ability to think outside the box. Ultimately, you will help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company's rapid and sustainable growth. As the company grows, we would like for the ideal candidate to be able to move into a Head of Sales or similar role.
Your responsibilities
* Combine your network and our existing network to turn potential leads into long term clients.
* Work with other departments such as Operations & Tech, to develop proposals that speak to the client's needs, concerns and objectives.
* Analyzing statistics and growth figures to ensure that existing volume is maintained and built upon.
* Maintain fruitful relationships with existing customers.
* Keep up to date with market and business trends including competitor activities, understanding developments for the client, and identifying new and emerging business opportunities.
Required Skills/experience
* 3 years minimum experience in a sales/business development role.
* Confidence to be able to approach new clients and build relationships.
* Proven track records of achieving targets/KPI's and closing contract deals.
* IT literate with adequate knowledge of Office package.
