Our client in Tyne and Wear is seeking to recruit a financial Controller. The business is long established with a blue chip customer base and is about to enter a period of significant investment ion both products and internal systems.
As Financial Controller you will report to the Manging Director, and have responsibility for all matters pertaining to finance, and the supervision of a small team locally. As such, a broad experience base would be desirable, allied to some past systems implementation projects/improvements. Previous sector experience is not necessary, but an energetic approach and ability to problem solve will be. The individual should have the gravitas to communicate comfortably with senior management, acting as advisor to those who are less financially aware.
Basic salary will be in the GBP60,000 to GBP65,000 range,
