An exciting opportunity has come available for a HR Business Analyst on a 6 month FTC to join a leading service provider based in Birmingham.

This position is working from home 4 days and 1 day in the office.

Job purpose;
The role will support the Head of HR Shared Services as we embark on a project to review our core processes and re–engineer these to support a best–in–class HR service. The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing multiple HR Systems and integrations, whilst also being able to understand the supporting business processes

The Business Analyst will work on a number of high–profile projects and will ensure that the HR systems/processes effectively meet business requirements, highlighting opportunities for improvements as well as risks. However, this is a "hands on" role and you will be expected to support any HR projects as required.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing processes, and systems to identify process failures and areas for improvements.
Liaising with stakeholders to identify as is processes and future requirements
Present findings back to a project group
Reviewing HR processes/systems to identify opportunities for improvement and risks/issues
Reviewing HR Processes against existing services and mapping where processes can be adopted and where additional actions are required
Preparing process maps and supporting guides
Delivering training for team members within the SSC
Supporting with the preparation of communication materials
Producing appropriate documentation and reports
Working with the HR Manager to implement service improvements and drive the progression of the shared services offering
Reviewing and developing HRSS support documentation required for business as usual i.e. process flows, training documentation, FAQs etc
Supporting activity to ensure all employee data is complete and accurate within the master HR system Ideal candidate;
Experience of working with Smart Recruiters and Success Factors is desired
Excellent analytical and problem–solving skills are essential
Ability to develop relationships at all levels and clarify requirements to ensure no ambiguity
Experience of supporting projects in a BA role – ideally including service improvements
Solid knowledge of HR processes and systems
Proven self–starter with track record of identifying and improving processes
Proficient user of MS Office including Word, Excel, Visio and Powerpoint
Ability to be flexible to meet changing priorities and support all areas of HR projects
Clear verbal/written communication skills
Focus on attention to detail and accuracy
Experience of HR Shared Services (desirable)
