Our Opportunity
In the role of a Full Stack Software Developer you will support, develop and deliver a variety of bespoke in house solutions involving MVC web applications, win forms and web services.
This opportunity would be ideally suited to someone who is already established in the development field and is looking to further their career, a developer who is interested in creating solutions that involve physical manufactured products, or any developer who is looking for a new or greater challenge.
Key responsibilities as our Full Stack Software Developer (DevOps):
– Supporting a variety of bespoke C# applications including MVC apps, desktop applications and WCF services as a full stack developer
– Developing new applications and solutions in response to business needs
– Working closely with other team members to ensure development is on spec and functional
– Providing support for a local and international production environment
– Attending stand–ups, sprint planning and code review meetings regularly
– Following defined processes and conventions while also looking to continuously improve areas within the development team
– Using source control (TFS) to ensure all projects and their code bases are kept up to date and available
Key Challenges
– Continuously providing stable and maintainable software solutions within a realistic deadline and framework
– Understanding and working within the bounds of existing limitations while still attempting to improve processes that allow it
Skills and experience needed as our Full Stack Software Developer (DevOps):
– 3+ years of software development experience
– Knowledgeable in C#.Net
– Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
– Proven experience with software design and OOP
– Good attention to detail – including spelling and grammar
Experience with:
– Source control, primarily VSTS (or TFS)
– A ticket/issue management application such as Jira
– Experience creating and managing normalized database (My/MSSQL)
– Continuous integration and deployment
