This role is an extremely important position as you will ensure that the technology services continues to grow and thrive. The Technology team operates from single wind turbine installations and onsite generation to multi–GW offshore generation, grid, and private wire projects.
What you'll be doing
As the Head of Power Systems, you will be involved with delivering on several key areas of development from Grid, Onshore & Offshore energy generation projects.
You will support leaders within the consultancy with business plans, budgeting, sector focusing, and growth opportunities.
With your high level of knowledge, you will provide technical support to colleagues, write & review work scopes for clients so that you can deliver quality outputs and continuous improvements.
What experience you'll need to apply
A degree in electrical engineering.
Harmonic modelling & dynamic modelling.
Understanding of the grid code G99.
Electrical engineering concept design and delivery or systems analysis.
Strong report writing.
Strong client management skills.
Project management of complex deliverables.
Mentoring junior staff.
What you'll get in return for your experience
A salary up to GBP70k, but we could be flexible for the right candidate. The package includes 25 days holiday + public holidays, 5% pension, private medical, life assurance 3x your salary & a professional membership.
