Interim Finance Manager / Finance Business Partner – up to GBP450 to GBP469 Day rate – Bristol / Remote based – 3 to 6 months duration

Due to internal promotion Morson are pleased to be partnering with a Global business with HQ in London, however this role is based from their Bristol office, with the possibility for remote working.

This role requires an immediate start following a 1 stage interview process.

We are recruiting for a Interim Finance Manager/Business Partner to join the Technology Finance team for a period of 3 to 6 months, with the focus being centred on Balance sheet and cashflow forecasting, P&L Business Partnering, Month end reporting and variance analysis.

The role will be quite Excel heavy so Advanced Excel skills is a requirement.

You will be a strong technical accountant, experienced with Budgetary and financial reporting activities for the Service Platforms Balance sheet, working capital and cash. Reporting month end, forecasting and an excellent communicator, especially communicating financial information to non–financial stakeholders.

Your Interim Finance Manager/Business Partner role will include the following accountabilities:

Direct report to the Senior Manager for Financial Planning & Cost Transformation with responsibility for:
Budgetary and financial reporting activities for the Service Platforms Balance sheet, working capital and cash.
Accountability for all accounting, control and governance matters in relation to Service Platforms Balance sheet.
Cost Transformation, OFCOM & Delivery forecasting and Finance Wave sign off
Driving the Cost Transformation agenda across Service Platforms
Linkage of the cost transformation benefits to CFU funding and OWC
Business Partner for Delivery & Transformation unitsYou will be required for decision making on:

P&L
Efficiencies, Productivity & Cost Transformation
CapEx Investment (and rationing)
Financial risk management
Accurate forecast and outlooks
3rd party spend
Driver based forecasting

Apply for the Interim Finance Manager role if you have;

Qualified Accountant – (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, IIA, CISA, ACT, CTA, MCT, IR Society Certificate or equivalent)
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to perform Macros, Pivots, Lookups etc
Experience across a wide range of finance disciplines desirable.
Experience of driving cross CFU change.
Demonstrable professionalism with a proven ability to operate in a complex, fast paced matrixed business environment.
A track record of effectively influencing stakeholder requirements
Strength of driving a customer centric approach in all financial processes.
Collaborative approach to problem solving.

Location: Bristol / Remote

Rate of Pay: up to GBP469 per day

Contract length: 3 to 6 months initially
