Civil Litigation Lawyer
LAW Absolute are working with a London based local authority in their search for a Civil Litigation Lawyer. The role is being offered on an initial three-month locum basis.
The successful Civil Litigation Lawyer will be required to play a lead role in the council's contentious legal matters including but not limited to:
-Providing specialist, technical advice on civil litigation and prosecutions matters
-Undertaking advocacy on cases in the County Court and Magistrates Court
-Undertaking research and making recommendations to investigations officers on evidence gathering which promotes best practice
As a Civil Litigation Lawyer within the council you will need to possess strong advocacy skills, be a strong communicator, have a current practising certificate and be able to manage a complex and varied caseload.
Local government experience is highly advantageous.
