Synchro are working with a well known F&B retail brand who require a Senior Systems Engineer to join their Technical Engineering function.
The responsibilites will be:
To own and deliver the journey of product development projects through the sequence of brief, requirements, specification, verification & validation.
Facilitate multi–disciplinary engineering and cross–organisational alignment
Identify, enhance and protect project value throughout the product development cycle.
Lead the business in eliciting and aligning a full–spectrum of stakeholders to define the next generation of winning products for the global business
Lead and deliver the sign–off of new product requirements from senior stakeholders (Exec)
Secure project value throughout definition, derivation, analysis, and maintenance of requirements through extensive interaction and negotiation with parties within the business and in third parties (e.g. equipment suppliers, design houses, contract manufacturers)
Development with Product Development Manager of overall Technical Product Specification from requirements
Works with Lead Compliance Engineer to ensure Technical Product Specification includes includes all requirement for homologation / regulatory / compliance
Mange others delivering lower level specifications, including software, to ensure they are aligned to Technical Product SpecificationAbout you:
You will ideally have an Engineering/Electronics Design background, or have experience of working in plant environments supporting and maintaining engineering equipment.
Still enjoy the hands on elements of an Engineering role, with some cross–over in Project Management tasks and responsibilities.
Knowledge and experience in architecting and integrating complex systems with a global reach.
Chartered Engineering background
Experience in verification and validation of requirements
Advanced MS Office knowledge, including basic VBA or equivalent language
Knowledge and experience of working on products undergoing third party certification
Chairing diverse project stake holder groups
