A leading financial services organisation is currently searching for Project Manager with experience in Technology Risk Management on a 12 month contract basis.

It will be GBP550 Umbrella Daily and working remotely for the immediate time being – however, there will need to be time spent in the Glasgow office in the coming future,

Responsibilities for the role are;

Specific deliverables/focus:
* Maintain project plans for each issue including milestones for key risk reduction tranches (and identification of residual risk downgrade target/ opportunities)
* Organize and present comprehensive progress, status and clear rationale for risk downgrade opportunity
* Ensure communication and awareness of all dependent contributors / resources are identified for overall issue remediation (including downstream divisional adoption / etc.)
* Continuity of oversight for complete issue lifecycle
* Initially, as remediation progresses, managing where small tail remediation may remain
* Validating appropriate ownership through issue lifecycle, transparency/ awareness on commitment dates and ensuring relevant discussion on competing priorities
* Quality completeness in issue closure, factoring in 'BAU' control sustainability and oversight
* Ongoing touchpoints with assessment owners (including IAD) to ensure visibility and agreement on plans and progress, minimize chance for surprises at verification stage
* Contingent resources will report into Risk Governance and Solutions (RGS) team within Technology and Operations Risk

Skills required:
* Strong background in management of Technology related projects
* Experience in Technology Risk Management, and/ or Audit or risk assessment management, an advantage
* Highly motivated; ability to drive project deliverable(s) to delivery/ lead meetings with cross functional and cross level participation
* Ability to provide detailed reporting and data on relevant activity and processes
* Experience of working in highly regulated environments and meeting complex control expectations
* Experience of defining new processes and standard procedures, ensuring quality and resiliency
* Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and time management skills
* Strong sense of ownership and accountability
* Experience of staff interaction across multiple locations within a matrix managed organisation
* Strong language skills– able to articulate messaging well
* Ability to influence

Skills Desired:
* Proven Track record/experience in Technology with prior risk project/program management, Audit/ risk assessment responsibilities ideal
* Strong communication capabilities, both in formal forums and informal influencing
* Ability to manage and interact in a matrixed organization is essential
* Individual must be able to multi–task effectively
