Title: Head of Production
Salary: GBP65,000 – GBP75,000
Location: Hessle
OVERVIEW
Our client is looking for a capable and driven Head of Production to join the company and support them in meeting their increasing production targets.
The company are experiencing significant growth and require an experienced production professional to support the development of the business's Production activities in line with this.
THE ROLE:
Taking ownership of manufacturing, you will work with the executive team to deliver production targets whilst driving improvements in company processes.
*You will set and support strategy to support the business operations
*Identify and drive improvement initiatives utilising lean methodology
*Work collaboratively across departments to achieve cohesive strategy.
*Work to coach and develop your teams to drive a positive culture that embraces change and delivers flexibility within their operations.
*Driving measurable improvements to QCD and OEE metrics
*P&L accountability and management of budget for capital expenditure in line with company roadmap.
–A proven track record of running a manufacturing operation and supporting growth – Considerable Lean Manufacturing experience within an engineering environment
–A strong technical background with a degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline
THE CANDIDATE:
*A proven track record of running manufacturing operations and supporting growth objectives
*Strong Lean toolkit and demonstrable background of developing culture around this methodology
*Engaging demeanour, capable of leading and creating "buy in" to new initiatives.
*Strategic thinker, strong analytical skill sand ability to prioritise activity to maximise impact to a sites operations.
*Passionate about progress.
*Ideally degree qualified within an engineering or manufacturing discipline
