CQC Project Manager required to work for our client.
Job role
You will be a key member of Access Health Care (AHC) Management Team. With direct responsibility for the delivery to time, cost and quality of the CQC Action Plan, with a focus on the operational element of the service. This includes effective and efficient management leadership and co–ordination. Run projects developing, managing and taking responsibility for specific areas of work as directed, including cost management, procurement management, quality management and health and safety and risk management across the organisation.
To undertake research, locate information and compile data and analysis as may be required to support the organisational projects and corporate aims, contributing and responding to requirements to ensure delivery of internal and externally led projects.
The post holder will have a strong capability for project planning, complex document production, research and a strong IT competence with experience of working in General Practice or an equivalent CQC related health organisation.
The post holder will be expected to contribute towards a one team culture throughout the Organisation and promoting a patient centred ethos of putting Patients First.
Essential criteria
Full UK Driving licence and your own vehicle
High standard of IT skills including MS Office
Evidence of an excellent understanding of healthcare and an appreciation of the broad social, political and economic trends influencing it.
Knowledge of the implementation of Care Quality Commission standards.
Experience of senior level decision making and delivery in a changing environment
Understanding and experience of managing key organisational issues e.g. NHS finance, HR, risk management etc
Experience of managing staff and budgets and securing best use of resources to meet service needs
Able to understand the principles of value for money and challenge performance on this basis.
Able to understand the risk environment including knowledge and understanding of the strategies that have been adopted in healthcare.
Able to understand and analyse complex issues and balance competing priorities in order to make difficult decisions
Experience in project and contract management.
Experienced in forming policies and procedures and presenting them appropriately.
Experience of working in General Practice or an equivalent CQC related health organisation
Job details
Temporary for a period of 3 months.
Full time – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
You will be required to travel between Exeter and Plymouth. You must hold a full UK driving licence and have your own vehicle.
This position offers an hourly rate of GBP22.44
