This position is responsible for identifying and applying analytical best practices to Quality System processes across Lotus Cars facilities. This person develops metrics and alert limits to facilitate consistent and timely reporting and action in key Quality System processes, in collaboration with the Sr. Manager of Quality Planning, process owners, and stakeholders. This position offers opportunities to partner cross functionally to drive a clear strategy for compliance, provides high visibility and is established as a key position in a high performing team.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
* Identify and standardise data sources, metrics and alert limits for key quality system processes (Corrective Action Preventative Action, complaints, etc) across Lotus Cars facilities.
* Facilitate metrics gathering, analysing and reporting on a regular and ad hoc basis.
* Lead and continuously improve predictive analytics including forecasting, data gathering and modelling.
* Develop data collection and reporting processes to minimise "hands–on" time, reduce collection errors and increase automation.
* Provide on–going tracking and monitoring on the performance of decision systems and statistical models.
* Work in a team environment with members of Quality and other departments on achieving team target requirements.
Required knowledge
* Qualification in Science/Engineering Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Data Analytics or other relevant discipline.
* Experience in data source capture and analysis.
* Knowledge of International standards
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, SharePoint development, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, etc.)
* Experience in data analytic software such as Power BI or Tableau
* Understanding and use of problem solving tools
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines.
* Strong oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
* Ability to communicate well with all levels of management
