My client is well respected Housing Association looking for an Head of Compliance Contracts (Property) on a permanent basis.

Based on North London

Salary 60k – 67k DOE
Job Purpose

* As a member of our Property Services Senior Management Team, the Head of Compliance Contracts will lead the operational delivery of our property compliance service, proactively contributing to business planning, service improvement, and most importantly achieving high level of compliance and customer satisfaction with services.
* The post holder will be expected to take ownership of the services delivered and be accountable to internal and external stakeholders, whilst working collaboratively with other teams. This role will lead and manage the compliance contracts team, to ensure that services achieve regulatory and statutory requirements, are delivered with a customer focus, and robustly demonstrate and evidence a value for money approach. The service is expected to achieve compliance KPI targets through effective contract management of numerous service providers, who provide services in relation to compliance areas including Asbestos, Lifts and Water Management. Other compliance areas include door entry, ventilation, fall arrest systems, play areas, security systems etc.

Responsible for:
1. Demonstrate leadership in planning, developing and implementing practices to recruit, motivate and develop staff whilst improving service delivery and efficiency. Ensure team members are suitably qualified and competent to manage their service area.
2. Effectively direct the management and performance of staff, contractors, suppliers and other resources. Monitor the operational and financial performance of the service and address shortfalls in performance.
3. Responsible for the maintenance of all mechanical and safety installations, ensuring effective delivery of repairs/upgrades relating to all equipment and compliance with legislation, standards and industry best practice.
4. Ensuring contracts are compliant with internal policies and procedures. Responsible for the effective procurement and contract management of all service providers engaged by to deliver the compliance service.
