One of the largest UK employers within the Defence sector is looking for a Chief Engineer – Maritime to join their growing team – this business works on projects and products that truly are at the cutting edge of technology. The organisation is based in Hampshire but remote working with occasional travel to site will be considered.
The Role
As a Chief Engineer you'll contribute to the effective delivery of programmes and to further develop this line of business. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Being the technical representative and ambassador of to customers in this business area.
Engineering assurance and governance across all Maritime programmes.
Generation of common, tailored technical solutions for all programmes within the franchise, and alignment with business and commercial elements of solutions.
Leadership of all multi–disciplined technical staff assigned across the franchiseYou???
To succeed in this role it's essential you have held a similar lead engineering role across the full lifecycle and within the maritime industry – only candidates with maritime / naval systems engineering experience will be considered for this role. Any experience working with business development and capture teams will hold you in good stead.
