Head of Electro–mechanical Production – Competitive – Automated Machinery – Gloucester
My client specialises in advanced engineering and technology services for bespoke electro–mechanical systems within the aerospace sector. They are also at the forefront of electrification of the aviation industry, providing high–performance solutions and services to leading aerospace partners around the world.
Main Duties:
* Lead the design and setup of a highly automated electro–mechanical production facility
* Build, manage, and nurture the production team
* Ensure continuous compliance to EASA Part 21J and AS9100
* Develop and maintain electro–mechanical build processes
* EASA Form 1
Skills and Experience required:
* Experience in high–volume, highly automated, advanced manufacturing, ideally in aerospace
* Experience defining and setting up a large–scale factory from scratch
* Knowledge of electro–mechanical product development processes would be beneficial
* A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or other relevant discipline
* Confident in the delivery of multiple projects in a changing and expanding business
