Operations Director – GBP100,000 – GBP150,000
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an Operations Director to join a leading aerospace in Worcestershire. You will have the opportunity to lead the growth of the company. Report directly to the COO you will be accountable for delivering rigorous SQDCP targets site wide, introducing new products and processes and unleashing the organisations potential. The Operations Director will set new standards, grow core competences, create centres of excellence and performance manage the teams to be agile to customer demands.
You will run multiple businesses within the organisation from machining and precision, looking after over 200 employees and having full P&L accountability.
Your role will include
* Productivity – Lean/5S/VPM
* Business Planning
* Load & Capacity / SIOP
* Quality (Product and Process)
* Performance Management / Production System
* Manpower – Planning, organising, developing, coaching, training, engagement
* Machines – Asset care / Die Care / utilisation / OEE / TPM
* Methods – Standard Operations / consistency / SPC
* Material – Press plan, Flow, Logistics / supply chain
* Standardisation of process and consistent application site wide
* Working environment – compliance and EHS directives
* Leading, setting standards, guiding and coaching in line with the company
* Responsible for operation 24/7
* NPI in line with project management policy milestone
Experience and Qualifications
Degree / HN qualification in Mechanical / Production Engineering / Business Analysis Extensive knowledge / experience leading large scale industrial, complex operations Proven track record with a successful portfolio of achievements
Combined automotive and aerospace sectors
Competent in Operations, Engineering, EHS, Quality and HR class leading practices
