Business Development Manager
Basic Salary GBP25,000 plus Excellent OTE with Car Allowance
Description:
Our client is fast–growing fintech providing mobile Order & Pay technology connecting merchants and customers in the physical world and revolutionising the way payments are made.
They couldn't become the number one mobile ordering platform within hospitality without their Field based BDM's driving the use of our solution across all parts of the UK directly with customers.
It's not just about closing deals though. As part of their sales team you'll need help your customers get up and running, ensuring they get the best use from the product. You will also contribute to a positive environment and help your colleagues in what is a close knit family feel business.
Essential qualities
You will ideally understand the hospitality industry and already be well–connected to hospitality venues within your area – either because you have worked at a venue or have previous experience of selling into them. You will also have previous experience of presenting and selling to business managers, owners or directors. You may also have experience selling card payment solutions in the SME market.
You will be responsible for generating your own leads as well as managing leads originating from our marketing channels. You'll be passionate about our proposition and product with a sales approach that is both engaging and persuasive, enabling you to close deals and nurture long term mutually beneficial and rewarding relationships.
As a start–up, they are not big on process but you will need to be organised and capable of managing your own territory, enquiries, leads and pipeline. You'll also need to keep on top of your contact records and ensure your enquiries and leads are properly organised, prioritised and updated within our sales platform.
