Salary – GBP105,000 + Cambian Benefits and a car allowance of GBP(Apply online only) continues to be an exciting and challenging year at The Cambian Group. Part of the CareTech Family of Companies, we are one of the largest providers of Specialist Education and Residential Services for children and young people in the UK, delivering across Special Education Schools and Colleges, Residential Children's Homes and a Therapeutic Fostering Service.

We are embarking on a period of transformation in line with our ambitious plans and, at the absolute core of our business, is our commitment to supporting our amazing children and young people, each with their own needs, aspirations and infinite potential to reach their personal best.

Our teams are fully committed to Cambian's goals, they understand the challenges and rewards of working with our young people and know that every day they will achieve things that really matter.

Key to meeting all of these aspirations will be the Operations Director we are looking for, to lead and support our teams in the SEN Division.

Delivering alongside a professional and welcoming Regional Team, where our young people are central to everything we do, you will be able to juggle a range of key priorities needed to deliver positive outcomes – combining strong leadership and a collaborative, integrated approach to the management of our SEN services.

We are looking for an innovative leader, able to provide outstanding levels of care and education, to ensure that our young people have the best possible life chances. You will bring extensive experience of working in a senior role in Education and/or Care in the private or public sector and a robust track record of leading senior teams with the ability to develop outstanding people and quality systems.

Cambian will offer a best in class support framework to maximise your success and to underpin the achievements you will deliver with your team, for our young people.

You will need a real eye for detail – understanding that our absolute commitment to the Safeguarding of our children and young people is our top priority. You will be able to demonstrate comprehensive experience of the Children's Services Regulations, the environment we work in and the understanding that the safety of our children and young people is paramount.

We are a unique and complex business and you will need to balance a hands on, practical approach with a creative and innovative style and the ability to respond with positivity and a 'can do' mindset.

Bringing our plans to life will be challenging and intense but, with enthusiasm, creativity and a hands on approach, the reward and satisfaction will be second to none. You will have a unique opportunity to shape and deliver our long term SEN strategy and our drive to transform the lives of our children and young people.

If this sounds like the kind of challenge you are looking for, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements for an Enhanced DBS and reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practice.

All young people are equally entitled to have their needs met in a fair and balanced way. Cambian Group employees are responsible for promoting equal opportunities for all and for challenging any behaviour or practice which discriminates against any young person or colleague on the grounds of race, religion, disability, age, gender, sexual orientation or any other perceived difference
