Business Analyst / Project Accountant - Contract

Our Client, an International Professional Services Business in Sheffield, are undertaking a global System Implementation project and are seeking the support of an experienced Business Analyst / Project Accountant, this is a high exposure and complex program with the potential to run until Feb 2023. This role will sit in the functional design stream which is central to the success of the program and this role will support the functional and business testing cycles, change management / training activities and deployment.

Responsibilities of the role will include;
*Support the definition and delivery of the division deliverables
*Facilitate workshops and meetings to capture and define business requirements
*Define detailed design principles to under pin the 'to-be' design
*Coordinate and Input Into 'as-Is' process mapping and defining 'to-be'
*Work with vendors to develop robust functional documentation / specification
*Develop strong relationships with Stakeholders across the program
*Ensure any necessary business Information Is requested / provided In advance of any deadline set
*Escalate Issues as required
*The main focus of this role will be on the GL, Including reconciliation between local and group accounts, Design of the COA's and mapping between ledgers

Ideally you will demonstrate the following;
*Extensive of experience of GL Including reconciliation work
*Excellent communication skills
*Strong excel
*The ability to work on your own Initiative and well as part of a team
