At Infobip, Chief of Staff Marketing role is vital for the global marketing department to work in harmony and sync regardless of the time zones and initiative statuses.

The impact of this role is aiming for is increased efficiency (working smarter rather than harder) of MARKETING TEAM, enabling Marketers to spend most of their resources on adding value to their customers.

To achieve this, this function takes on the responsibility of improving the environment in which Marketing operates in, such as department processes, standards, workflows, tools and documentation. The environment should be easy to navigate in, with streamlined processes and easily found information and resources.

This function has the task to monitor the needs of Marketing, identify points for systemic improvement, innovate on solutions for those needs in collaboration with Marketing Leadership and propagate the solution across the board.

The main responsibilities of Chief of Staff Marketing function are:

* Identify opportunities for increasing the department effectiveness

* Drive definition and following of department wide processes

* Explore tool possibilities to maximize their value within the company's organizational design

* Leading deployment and configuration of third–party tools in the department

* Consolidate processes and ensure adoption among all relevant stakeholders

* Serve as first point of contact for other departments who require establishing or revising a process with Marketing as well as drive and coordinate implementation

* Train members of the department on processes and proper tool usage (existing ones and new ones during onboarding)

* Collaborate with Marketing Leadership to ensure adoption of department standards across the board

* Take on Project Manager role for big initiatives like customer and data migrations and/or agile training, customer feedback

* Facilitate collecting and increase usability of customer feedback Hold Administrator rights to department tools and maintain access for its users across the board

* Keep the process and department wide documentation organized, easily accessible and up to date

* Establish and maintain a central point for useful educational resources

* Organize recurring department meetings like Leadership Monthly, QBRs, Town Halls

* Organize the department yearly planning by preparing templates, communicating timelines and organizing meetings

Chief of Staff Marketing starting point

As the first person on this function you will be tasked with establishing the function, and developing it's scope, impact and way of work. The starting point includes a wide range of tasks – from strategic to operational work. How the function develops further will largely be on you to define and suggest.

Your first tasks in this role will be:

* Taking over the ownership of all Marketing department tools which in the beginning includes everything related to the tools – from leading implementation to acting as admin

* Help with Jira Align implementation

* Start building department documentation and evaluate the requirements

* Design and establish a framework for collecting customer feedback

* Design and establish a Customer Advisory board with Customer Marketing
