Quality Director – Permanent Position based near Stockport.
The Quality Director is responsible for enabling growth of the Company's MOS business by supporting all quality aspects involved in rapidly expanding our worldwide capacity base.
What you will do
Deliver flawless execution of qualification programs for new sites, transfers and changes
Deliver qualifications using customer and market requirements
Drive the business impact arising from quality decisions arising within the industrial base
Ensure strong technical risk assessment, balanced business assessments on supply, customers and financial aspects
Align with the leadership team in advance of communications, ensuring quality issues are prevented and/or managed
Drive for zero defect product quality performance improvements together with the company's manufacturing organisation and external partners
Improve procedures and add new methods to reduce systemic issues
Lead and build high performance teams
What you will need
Degree or equivalent in Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a relevant discipline, MEng/PhD strongly preferred
proven track record managing in product quality qualification processes for all semiconductor markets (consumer, automotive, professional, communications, etc.)
Background in electronics, with understanding of semiconductor technologies and manufacturing
High engagement on achieving targets and objectives of the position
Pragmatic and solution–driven leadership style with the ability to influence at all levels
High energy and drive with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Willingness for domestic and international travel
