HR Shared Services Director / HR Operations Director
Salary: negotiable
Location: West Midlands preferred, however there will be frequent travel across the UK
This is a challenging & unique time to join which will provide the opportunity to run and manage high profile strategic projects whilst keeping the day to day operations running successfully. Therefore, we are looking for a hands–on & strategic individual who ideally has worked in a large complex business previously.
This unique opportunity has arisen to work for a hugely growing business reporting to the Chief People Officer. You will be joining the business as they enter an exciting phase of growth leading the operations service across HR Administration, HR systems, L&D and Reward.
Key responsibilities of the HR Shared Services Director will include but are not limited to:
Overall responsibility for leading the HR administration, systems, L&D, and reward teams; supporting the teams to develop and ensure all SLAs / KPIs are met
Reviewing current processes, providing ideas for improvements to drive efficiency and actioning
Consistently challenging the "status quo" always seeking for new more efficient ways of working including process innovation, technology, and automation
Continually looking to optimise performance & productivity of each team driving continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring teams are adequately trained to deliver to SLAs & KPIs
Developing & growing the various HR operational teams inline with business need
Leading, motivating & managing the busy operational teams through a period of significant change, always driving a high–performance culture
Strategic project work:
Reviewing the current payroll processes & systems; and taking this from an idea, to implementation of a new system
Implementation of a new HR & payroll system across the group
Organisational design & change including structural reviews, redeployment & redundancies
Reward & benefits; reviewing what is currently in place & what is needed for the future
Experience required for the HR Shared Services Director include:
Exceptional communication skills, able to influence & negotiate with senior stakeholders
Experience in a senior HR shared service role
Able to lead, initiate & manage change in a positive way
A proven track record in the successful delivery of business change and business process improvement
