Cloud Analyst

Job purpose: The Cloud Finance Analyst supports the Cloud Finance Manager with all financial and commercial aspects of the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE). The role is responsible for updating financial products, producing specified reports and processing transactions required by the CCoE.

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Manages Budgets
  • Collate and track expenditure information
  • Monitor spend against forecast to ensure it remains within allocated budget
  • Proactively analyse and interpret data and highlight any risks or opportunities
  • Review and update accruals

Manage Accounts Payable
  • Responsible for ensuring invoices are paid on time

Produce reports
  • Responsible for producing financial reports for Cloud and EUX

Manage Licences
  • Monitor and track licence data
  • Hold review meeting with licence holders
  • Allocate licences appropriately

Process Recharges
  • Carry out recharge pre calculation data preparation
  • Calculate recharges
  • Update Recharging control master
  • Produce & issue recharge schedules and email notifications
  • Track recharge acceptances
  • Raise recharge invoices/journals
  • Review and follow up recharge debtors

Resource Management
  • Maintain time recording standing data
  • Produce time recording reporting & analysis

Cloud Data Governance
  • Review and action Tagging exceptions
  • Review and action ServiceCode standing data exceptions
  • Review and action cloud accounts standing data exception
  • Review and action AutoShutDown Schedule data exceptions
  • Review and action AHUB data exceptions
  • Review and action budget tolerance breaches
  • Review foundation service cost trends


Required:
  • Proficient in using MS office tools, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise ERP products (E. Oracle/SAP)
  • Confident communicator across all levels
  • Strong organisational skills and attention and attention to detail
