An opportunity has arisen for an Interim Finance Lead – Elective Accelerator Scheme, within a South West NHS Trust.
This role is to provide financial and professional leadership within the Elective Regional Accelerator programme.
Main responsibilities:
Support the development of business cases and delivery plans for elective activity enhancing schemes and service changes;
Co–ordinate the development of a forecast for activity plans in terms of both income and expenditure;
Prepare highly complex detailed bridging statements reconciling the impact of service changes;
Provide a summary reporting pack for Trust / System Committees to ensure that investments are targeted and delivered and that the impact of elective enhancing projects is clearly and concisely modelled;
Develop a collaborative, persuasive and visual style of presenting financial and business information to System colleagues across the project;
Work as an integral part of the project Leadership Team along with the PMO in the planning and reporting of the project plan expected outcomes and progress to date;
Provide expert advice on highly complex, sensitive and often contentious programme developments;
Research and network effectively to ensure that best practice from other systems is shared and implemented.
Key Skills/Experience:
CCAB Qualified
Experience of working within the NHS
Experience of translating complex data from various systems into a clear and comprehensive financial model
