Partner Financial are working with a dynamic, c£8m turnover group now scaling up its retail business. It is a private business with large blue-chip client base and a true innovator within their space. They are seeking to build enterprise value through strong and profitable business growth toward a potential exit. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing a small team and overseeing the day-to-day running of the accounts department.

- Producing the management accounts monthly for the Group
- Providing informative explanation of variances of actual results to the budget and reforecast
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the Accounts Department, including managing a small team
- Preparing and submitting all relevant statutory and regulatory accounts returns, VAT returns and other tax accounting requirements
- Ensuring accounting systems and processes are fully utilised and developed to support the business along with maintaining a strong internal control environment
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- ‘Hands on’ with proven experience in the SME and scale-up environments
- Previous experience in FMCG / Sales / Retail / Consumer driven businesses with a strong weighting towards commercial accounting and performance analysis
- Experience within an International setting would be useful
- Candidates who are immediately available or on 2-week max notice are highly desirable
