Salary Scale PO6 (Points 40 – 43)

37 hours per week, term time only + additional days (negotiable)

All year round salary GBP43857– GBP46845 per annum – Actual salary GBP36800–GBP39307 per annum term time only (increasing dependent on additional days)

We are looking to appoint, as soon as possible, a dynamic, highly skilled Human Resources Director to create and lead the HR strategy for the Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, senior leaders, and governors across Trust schools to ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date in terms of best practice and legislative changes. The role provides the opportunity to contribute at a strategic level, to identify HR priorities and recommend how HR solutions can secure progress towards the vision for our Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced HR practitioner to work as part of the Trust's Operational Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an experienced team leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a track record of success in a senior HR role, ideally with experience of the education sector
  • Have a degree in a relevant discipline, or a relevant professional qualification, or appropriate work experience
  • Have strong leadership and management skills
  • Have a proven capacity to think strategically and to work innovatively, both independently and as part of a team
  • Have a positive attitude and the ability to deal effectively with complex and/or sensitive issues
